Pearl Krea-Cion is fashion brand incorporated in the city of Brampton Canada in 2008. The brand like many other fashion brands is family owned by Ojie Eghobor whose business development skills in growth, sales and marketing has been pivotal to the growth of the brand and an added advantage for the brand. With many years’ experience as an entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Ojie has an eye for opportunities in the business terrain. As a result of this, Ojie is in charge of the entire management of the business.

Linda Eghobor also brings her skilled hands as a seamstress and professional HR personnel into making sure the brand puts out only quality clothing and hires the right staff. Linda’s attention to details, perfectionism and eye for quality ensures that only the best clothing item makes it to the brands customers. She is in charge of the entire creative and production process of the brand from design conceptualization, pattern drafting, fabric sourcing, cutting and sewing alongside other in house seamstress and tailors.

At the moment the brand employs the external services of a digital marketing/PR firm who handles its online presence, projecting the brand in the right image therefore allowing the brand focus on its core strength of creating outstanding pieces.  The social media marketing company is also responsible for the brands digital creative such as product photo shoot, blog posts.

One of the brands co-founder, Ojie employs his business development skills as a marketer into working with the digital marketing agency to see that both brand ethics and the agency’s ideas align and reach the overall goal of meeting the needs of the customer, gaining market share, bringing new partnerships and ultimately sales.

As regards salary, the company co-founders are paid a sensible percentage from the net profit of the brand each month making the salary not fixed.

One of the critical success factors of Pearl Krea-Cion is the incorporation of a variety of products for both men and women that meets the diverse range of style needs of its customers at different price points and capturing a wider market. The brand also sees an opportunity in making a variety of accessories from African print fabrics which it hopes to explore in the future after researching the market for it.
