Our Operational Plan

Pearl Krea-Cion from inception in 2008 has been a home run fashion brand operated from the founder’s basement in Brampton Canada which plays host to the brands immediate target audience.

This in-house fashion studio houses a work station for cutting, sewing, fabric storage, client fitting and style consultation with clients. This has been the modus oparandi of the brand but this intends to change as the brand has matured into getting a proper showroom in upscale Brampton in pursuit of new markets. The flagship store will serve as a major entrant of the brand into the Canadian fashion scene as the brand plans to launch a new collection for the showroom unveiling which will host top fashion influencers and personalities in Brampton.

With expansion comes the need for more hands in the business and the brand intends to employ 2 store assistants who’ll be responsible for attending to customer’s enquiry, suggest style options, display merchandize, stocking and update its social media pages with new arrivals.

In other to actualize this, the company has decided to move its RTW (Ready to Wear) production to Nigeria which proves to be a cost effective option for the brand. Moving production outside Canada is not only a strategy to cut cost of production but also to meet deadline consistently as the showroom will increase demand which the basement workshop wouldn’t entirely meet anymore. Orders to the factory will be made thrice a year, once in the first quarter and one in the third and fourth quarter of the year.

The company still intends to keep its basement factory in other to satisfy customers who want something more personal, made to exact taste and in a short period of time. However, this will cost the customers more.

The company has set up a supply chain management between fabric suppliers in Nigeria, manufacturing factories and logistics companies that’ll enable it cut cost and deliver flexibly and punctually. Supply chain management is utmost importance as a young fashion brand and this entails close communication with fabric suppliers, manufacturing factories, logistics firms and customers.

To control costs, track and manage inventory in the business as a result of this development, an inventory control system has been set in place.

Linda being the creative lead for the brand is saddled with the responsibility of making any travel down to the factory if need be as her eye for detail will be highly needed in production.
